Celebrating Community at NEARFest 2025: ARRL Hospitality Tent Engages Ham Radio Enthusiasts

The 2025 Fall NEARFest Ham Radio Festival was a vibrant celebration of amateur radio, featuring the ARRL Hospitality Tent that provided invaluable support to festival attendees. Members had the opportunity to engage with ARRL representatives, ask questions, and learn more about various services and programs available to them.

Among the highlights was an impressive demonstration by Jay (K1EHZ), who transmitted a 5 MHz video signal across the fairgrounds, captivating onlookers with his technical expertise. Additionally, Red Cross Liaison James (N1PZP) was present to discuss the vital role of amateur radio in emergency communications, further emphasizing the festival's commitment to community resilience.

With informative discussions, hands-on demos, and networking opportunities, the ARRL Hospitality Tent served as a central hub for knowledge and camaraderie at this year's NEARFest, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration within the ham radio community.
